Leather Care
Caring for Your Leather
Leather is a bit like people — it gets better with time, but only if you treat it right.
Your strap is made from vegetable-tanned leather, which means it’s strong, natural, and full of character. It will soften, darken, and develop its own story the more you use it.
Here’s how to keep it looking (and feeling) its best:
1. Let it age — don’t fight it
Scratches, marks, and slight colour changes are part of the charm.
That’s not wear and tear — that’s personality showing up.
2. Keep it dry (but don’t panic)
A bit of rain won’t hurt it — just let it air dry naturally.
No hairdryers, no radiators, no drama.
3. Feed it occasionally
Every now and then, a small amount of leather conditioner will keep it supple and happy.
Not too much — leather doesn’t need a spa day every week.
4. Avoid the extremes
Try not to leave it in direct sunlight or in very damp environments.
Basically, treat it like a good guitar — not in the boot of a car in July.
5. Give it space
When you’re not using it, hang it or lay it flat.
Avoid folding it tightly — it prefers to stretch out a bit.
6. It’s built to be used
This isn’t a delicate object — it’s made to be played, worn, and lived with.
The more you use it, the better it gets.
A small note
Each piece is made by hand, so slight variations are part of what makes it yours.
No two will ever age the same way — and that’s kind of the point.
