Custom Guitar Strap - Commission

Every custom strap starts with your brief and is designed specifically for you.

A little note: Because every custom commission is designed and made especially for you, discount codes don’t apply to these pieces.

Once your order is placed, you can send me as much or as little as you like to work from — a guitar, colours, symbols, a mood, a story, reference images, or simply an idea you'd like me to run with.

I'll use that brief to create 2–3 digital design concepts for you to choose from. Once you've chosen your preferred direction, up to three rounds of refinements are included before I begin making your strap by hand in my UK workshop using my signature technique.

Your strap

Each strap is made from strong, vegetable-tanned leather and built to be used for decades.

You'll be able to choose:

• Strap width (6.5 cm / 2.5" or 9 cm / 3")
• Smooth or grippy leather lining
  
• Optional stamped initials

Pricing

The £390 commission covers a fully custom design created from your brief, including 2–3 digital design concepts and up to three rounds of refinements to your chosen design before I begin making your strap.

If your project involves a much more extensive design process — for example, bringing together multiple memories, photographs or personal references into a single design — please get in touch before purchasing. These projects are considered on a case-by-case basis and may require a different approach and pricing.

If you already have a finished design you'd like me to recreate on leather, the price may also vary depending on complexity. I'll always confirm this before you place your order.

Timeframe

I usually send your first design concepts within 10–15 days of receiving your brief.

Once you've chosen and approved your design, making the strap typically takes around 15–20 days, depending on the design and my workload at the time.

Payment

You can pay in full at checkout, or if it helps, I can split the payment — 50% to get started and the remaining 50% once you've approved the design, before I make the strap. Just drop me an email and I'll sort it out for you.
